Chicago and Dovetail Hi-C scaffolding technologies combine short read NGS data with long range proximity ligation data generated within chromatin.  Chicago starts with purified DNA in vitro and boosts contiguity while also improving draft assembly accuracy. Dovetail Hi-C starts with intact chromosomes in situ, thereby enabling true full chromosome-length scaffolding.

 

The result?  A highly contiguous and highly accurate de novo genome assembly!
